artist‘s note: “In the town of Remedios, there was a legend of two lovers, who were persecuted in town.
They were from two different worlds and were not supposed to be together.
Their story, like so many tragic love stories, was destined for uncertainty and the unknown.
They decided to leave the town to escape to the mountains together.
The wilderness called to them
It said, ’Follow the road through the sugarcane field and there you will find what you are looking for, it will heal your wounds.’
They wrapped themselves in the magical surroundings of the natural landscape, they covered their bodies wounded by judgment and prejudice, until their love was healed.”
