artist‘s note: “I remember the first time my cousin took me to the river. When we arrived you had to go down a big hill that took you to the river bank. I thought the best view was from the top. It was like being on the high balconies of the ballet, with a panoramic view of the whole area.

People were jumping from the rope swings into the river, with such joy and happiness, they looked so natural floating in the air and then falling and blending with the water. Here people swam in dark waters, danced in each other's arms and kissed under the surface. The river was their silent accomplice.”
